Following on from last week, when you thought about your top 3 financial goals for the year, today give some thought to your profitable skills, traits, and talents that can help you bring those goals into fruition.

Perhaps you’re very good at understanding what your ideal client needs, so you can create products and services that are useful to them. Then your time would be best spent brainstorming those products and services – you’ll want to offload what you can to make space for that.

Maybe you’re very good at writing your sales copy. Then consider creating more offers that need a sales page, so that your skills are put to best use.

Are you brilliant in person with clients and customers, finding just the right things to say to endear you to them and show them that you understand them and can provide the solutions they’re looking for? Then you’ll definitely want to maximise your in-person time with prospects in the coming year.

Do you have a knack for navigating forms and bureaucracy? Then you may want to focus your efforts on bidding for public and large corporate tenders.

Do you exude confidence in a friendly, approachable way whilst speaking in public? Then you’ll want to focus on getting on as many stages as you can. And don’t forget podcasts!

What are your profitable skills, traits, and talents? How can you use them to best serve you and your business?

Why and How to Use These Prompts

Getting into a better place in thinking about money is a vital first step to facing our numbers and then doing something to better them - all the stuff I'm here to help you with.

Use these prompts to gently explore your feelings about money at your own pace. Remember, the point is to dig beneath the surface for yourself.

Brew up a cuppa, put on some chill music, light a candle or incense, get a notebook and pen, and give it a go. Consider setting a timer for just 15 minutes and write whatever comes into your head.

For some prompts, you might prefer to meditate on them instead. Or ponder them whilst doing the washing up or walking the dog. Or you might want to talk them through with a trusted friend. Do whatever works for you to help you get to a better money mindset.
